Asa Langston

My name is Asa and I am a person in long term recovery. What that means to me is that I have been free from all mood and mind altering substances since June 2018.

Since entering recovery, I realized my purpose was to help others using my lived experience with addiction. In October 2020, I became a Certified Peer Support Specialist, which opened many doors of opportunity to help folks in their recovery journey.

I joined the FAVOR Lowcountry team in October 2022 and it is my mission to help end the stigma associated with Substance Use Disorder through educating and advocating for the recovery community and by providing a platform for support!
